Terms & conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all the treatments we offer across all JD Waxing locations.

Booking a treatment:

All treatments are booked online only and we use ‘Ovatu’ as our booking software. When you book your online treatment, you will receive a confirmation email. You will also receive a reminder email which will be sent out 48 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment.

Clients:

All clients must be at least 18 years of age.

Pre-treatment consultation:

When you book your first treatment with us you will receive a client consultation form which allows us to check that there are no contraindications which mean we are unable to carry out your treatment. These forms should be completed when you book your appointment. If you do not return the form in advance of your appointment, and upon arrival it is ascertained that there are medical reasons that we cannot carry out your waxing treatments you will be charged in full for your treatment. Please return your consultation form when it is requested.

Timekeeping:

We ask that all clients arrive on time for appointments. Our location details/google map is on the website and booking app and is provided on your confirmation email. In return we will do our utmost to ensure that your appointment begins on time and has finished on schedule. We cannot always guarantee treatments for clients who arrive late as this can affect the following appointments with other clients. As a courtesy, we appreciate a text /call to let us know you’re running late.

New client welcome pack:

All new clients booking a body waxing treatment (not facial waxing!) will receive an aftercare product relevant to their service. Clients who book a full body wax or multiple waxing treatments may receive more than one product. 

Payment:

When you book your online treatment our booking system will capture your card details via Stripe as part of our online booking requirement, but no charge will be made. Full body waxing treatments and new clients booking multiple treatments will require a deposit at the time of booking. Any balance will be taken at the time of the appointment.

Payment method:

You can pay by cash, or card transaction (either using our secure ‘Sum-up’ platform with card reader on-site, or charging the stored card used to pay deposit/book treatment)

Cancellations & no-shows:

A strict cancellation policy is enforced by JD Waxing. Cancellations notified at least one full working day prior to an appointment will incur no cancellation fee. Cancellations on less than one full working days-notice and “no shows” will be charged the full amount of services booked.
