On the Day of Your Waxing Appointment: Key Tips for the Best Experience.

Drink plenty of water both the day before and the day of your appointment. Hydrated skin is more elastic, making the waxing process more comfortable and effective.

Try to avoid caffeinated drinks before your appointment, as they can increase skin sensitivity, making the waxing process more uncomfortable.

Please refrain from applying any creams, oils, deodorants, or perfumes to the area being waxed on the day of your appointment. Clean, dry skin allows the wax to adhere more effectively, ensuring better results.

Pick up any products you’ll need for aftercare before your appointment, so you're prepared. If you typically take a painkiller before waxing or use antihistamines after, make sure you have them ready on the day of your session.

Arrive on time to avoid rushing. Your therapist has a set amount of time for your appointment, and being on time ensures they can complete the waxing properly and apply any aftercare treatments.

If you usually hit the gym or engage in intense exercise, try to avoid doing so immediately after your waxing session. You should avoid excessive sweating to allow your skin to recover properly.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing on the day of your waxing, especially if you’re going later in the day. Opt for soft, breathable fabrics like cotton to minimise friction and irritation on freshly waxed skin.

Your therapist will be wearing gloves for your protection during the treatment. For the same reasons, avoid touching the waxed area afterwards. If you need to apply any products, wash your hands first to reduce the risk of infection.

By following these tips, you’ll help ensure a smoother, more comfortable waxing experience and better results.
